Specifically, I had the amazing opportunity to take part in The Podcast Show 2025 — a world-renowned international podcasting event held in London, bringing together podcasters from all over the globe. This semester, my coursework has been focused on podcasting, so being part of this event was an incredible chance for me to learn and gain hands-on experience. It allowed me to connect with and learn from many well-known professionals in the industry, which was truly inspiring and valuable for our growth.

Here is the showcase video that was in our stall

We were in our stall

At the event, my main responsibility was to represent our school and actively engage in networking with potential partners and collaborators. I introduced our Content Creators group, shared what we’ve been working on, and explored opportunities to connect with industry professionals who might be interested in supporting or collaborating with us in the future. Another important part of my role was to seek out potential job and internship opportunities, which made the experience even more valuable from a career development perspective.

Networking with potential partners and collaborators

Beyond the networking aspect, I also had the incredible chance to attend several inspiring talk shows and panel discussions hosted by some of the most well-known and respected figures in the creative industry. Listening to them share their journeys, practical insights, and personal advice gave me a much clearer understanding of the challenges and possibilities in this field. It was both eye-opening and motivating, and I left feeling more confident and excited about pursuing a career in the creative world.

All in all, I had a truly fulfilling day at the event—one that gave me not only valuable memories but also meaningful experiences I can proudly add to my CV. From networking with industry professionals to participating in insightful talks and representing my school, every moment contributed to both my personal and professional growth. It was the kind of experience that reminded me why I chose this path in the first place.
